For my final year degree piece I chose to discover and uncover the world of social networking data and identity fraud.
This area at present isn’t too well known to the online world but many people seem to have been the victim of this sort of crime online.

For this project I created a fraudulent account within the facebook site and used this account to show in a range of different interactive ways how I could use and access others data by pretending to be someone else.

Over a period of 3 months I added as many people as I could to build up a strong friend database. This then was the base to my project and I used this database to interact with the users I had added by such ways as flyers, postcards, phone numbers and emails to try and gain as much data as I could.
